The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructs to organize procedural probes upon media information about violation of rights of residents of Moscow and Nizhny Novgorod Regions

A federal channel aired a report that schoolchildren from the village of Otradnoe in Nizhny Novgorod Region are forced to reach the bus stop on their way to school every day in dangerous conditions. The story noted that schoolchildren are forced to walk one kilometer along the side of the road due to bureaucracy and possible inaction of local officials who cannot install a bus stop for the school bus.

The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed the head of the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia A.S. Akhmetshin to organize a procedural check on the allegations of violation of children's rights stated in the story.

In addition, a federal channel reported that residents of Nevzorovo village in Moscow Region were against the construction of a road that would run through their village to a new large cottage community. Journalists noted that the project may have to demolish houses and other buildings. Residents also voiced numerous other violations resulting in violations of their rights.
