A resident of Orenburg region involved in murders and other offenses to stand trial

The Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia finished investigation of a probe into unemployed resident of Orenburg Region Victor Belkin accused of committing a number of murders, arson and car theft (Part 2 of Art. 167, Part 2 of Art. 167, p. A, C, G, I, J of Part 2 of Art. 105, Part 4 of Art. 166, p. 2 of Art. 167 of the Criminal Code).

According to the investigation, in 2015-2018 as part of an organized group Belkin committed a number of grave and especially grave crimes in the territory of the Orenburg region. These include the murder in January 2018 in Orenburg of a businessman and his young son, where Belkin, as the investigation believes, was a co-perpetrator.

Due to the conclusion of a pre-trial cooperation agreement with Belkin, the criminal case against him was separated for the completion of the investigation and sent for trial.

The investigation of the other members of the organized group, who committed the crimes in complicity with the accused, continues.
