The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia gives a number of instructions over information reported by mass media


The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed the head of the Moscow Regional Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia A.Yu. Starikov to report on verification of mass media information about retention of a 56-year-old man in one of the nursing homes. It was reported that for a year, the man was not allowed to contact anyone by phone and now he is asking to terminate the contract to return home to his relatives. Upon this publication the Moscow Regional Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia initiated an assessment. The progress of the assessment is under supervision of the Central Office of the Investigative Committee of Russia.

Apart from that, the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed the acting head of the St. Petersburg Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia M.G. Parastaeva to report on the information voiced by mass media on admission to a city medical facility of a 16-year-old girl with multiple injuries in a form of cuts and burns. The progress of fulfillment of the instruction is under supervision of the Central Office of the Investigative Committee of Russia.
