The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia puts under supervision the progress of investigation of a probe into murder of three girls in Orenburg Region

Upon results of verification of information about violent death of three persons, the Orenburg Regional Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia launched a probe under Paragraph A of Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of Russia (murder of two or more persons).

It was established that on September 30 after a fire suppression in an apartment building in the town of Gay in the Orenburg region and on the ground near the house the bodies of three girls aged 17, 18 and 19 who lived in the apartment were found with signs of violent death in the form of stab wounds to the chest and abdomen. It was also found that the victims came from the Republic of Bashkortostan to study in one of the educational institutions and lived in a rented apartment.

The investigative team, comprising investigators and criminalistics officers, is carrying out investigative actions aimed to identify persons involved in committing of the offense.

The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed the head of the Orenburg Regional Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia Zuderman V.D. to report on the performed investigative actions and put the progress of the investigation under supervision of the Central Office of the Investigative Committee of Russia.
