The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia requests a report on a number of incidents and illegal acts against children

On air of the federal channel, it was reported about the commission of possible illegal acts of a sexual nature against minors by the former head of the religious organization "Society for Krishna Consciousness in the Kurdzhinovo village" of the Karachay-Cherkessia Republic.  Based on the results of the initial and additional procedural checks the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia made a decision to refuse to initiate a criminal case. The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed the head of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Karachay-Cherkessia Republic N.V. Schepkin to report on the results of the inspection and to provide justification for the procedural decision taken. 

In addition, the media reported that in Yekaterinburg, a teenage girl died under the wheels of a streetcar: she was riding on a coupling between the cars and fell on the tracks. The injuries were incompatible with life, and the schoolgirl died before the medics arrived. The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed the head of the Sverdlovsk Regional Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia M.V. Boginsky to report on the inspection.

In addition, the head of the department instructed the acting head of the Perm Regional Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia, D. S. Anashchenko, to initiate a criminal investigation into the beating of two minors in the city of Perm. Earlier it was reported that the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia is checking the information from the media that a man attacked two girls and after numerous insults hit them several times.

The progress of fulfillment of the instructions is to be supervised by the Central Office of the Committee.
