The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia requests reports on incidents in a number of regions


The Kamchatka Regional Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia is carrying out an assessment into information posted in a social network about dogs attacking children in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. It reported that dogs attacked children on the way home from school and one minor could be injured. The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia Alexander Ivanovich Bastrykin instructed the head of the Kamchatka Regional Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia A.V. Lipalo to report on circumstances of the incident.

Apart from that, on October 6, 2021 information appeared in social networks and the media about the destruction by unknown persons of the memorial inscription dedicated to Victory in the Great Patriotic War in the city of Krasnokamensk, Trans-Baikal Territory. It is reported that vandals destroyed the "Victory" inscription, fence and artificial trees in Krasnokamensk park. The Chairman of Investigative Committee of Russia instructed the head of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for Transbaikal Territory Rusanov Y.S. to report on the progress of verification activities. The progress and results of the inspection are under supervision of the Central Office of the Committee.
