Earlier, in the course of media monitoring, a report was revealed that three men severely beat a metro passenger, including kicks in the head area. The victim in serious condition was immediately hospitalized in a medical facility to be provided with the necessary assistance. On this fact, the police authorities initiated a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under Part 2 of Art. 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (hooliganism). Also, in the actions of men, signs of corpus delicti under Part 3 of Article 30, Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (attempted murder for hooligan motives).

Taking into account the special cynicism in the commission of a crime and a wide public outcry, after the receipt of the materials of the criminal case from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed to transfer this criminal case to the Central Office of the Committee, and instructed the subdivision of the Central Office to submit a plan of specific investigative actions and complete the investigation of the criminal case as soon as possible.
