The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructs to report on violation of rights of citizens in the Republic of Dagestan and Nizhny Novgorod Region

A federal channel aired a story about the complaints of residents of the village of Roika in the Nizhny Novgorod Region about the highway that passes through the village. It is reported that the regional authorities cannot solve the problem of citizens.   People asked the administration to solve the issue of speed limits and install new "speed bumps". As a result, a year later, the residents installed speed limiters by their own efforts, but they were dismantled because of arbitrariness. The Chairman of Investigative Committee of Russia instructed the acting head of the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia Kanonerov D. G. to report on the situation.

Besides, the broadcast informed about violation of rights of some residents of Makhachkala of the Dagestan Republic, who may lose their apartments as a result of fraudulent activities. It was reported that after purchasing apartments in one of the apartment buildings, residents discovered that the documents said they did not belong to them; the money had been embezzled by a crook, and the administration was ready to evict the residents to the street. The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed to check the legality and validity of the actions of the authorities and instructed the head of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia in the Republic of Dagestan A. P. Shchurov to submit a detailed report on the situation.

The progress of implementation of the instructions was placed under supervision of the Central Office of the Investigative Committee.
