The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia requests reports on violation of rights of citizens in a number of regions

In connection with the published in the media appeals of the residents of one of the houses in the city of Kurgan to the leadership of the Investigative Committee of Russia about possible violations allowed during the construction of the house close to them, the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed the head of the investigative department of the Investigative Committee of Russia in Kurgan Region Frantsishko B.V. to report on the conducted verification activities.  The media, citing local residents, reported that the construction of high-rise houses with gas roof boilers is carried out in violation of fire and sanitary requirements, construction is carried out at a distance of 12 meters, and the crane carries the building materials over the territory of citizens' houses. The progress of the probe is under the supervision of the Central Office of the Investigative Committee of Russia.

In addition, in connection with complaints from residents of the Tambov region living in dangerous conditions in a destroyed and uninhabited house where one of the walls collapsed on August 19, 2021, the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed the head of the Tambov Regional Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia A. Polshakov to report on the investigation of the probe (Part 1 of Article 293 of the Criminal Code) and to take measures to restore the violated rights of citizens. The progress of investigation is under supervision of the Central Office of the Investigative Committee of Russia.

In addition, in connection with the appeals in the media to the leadership of the Investigative Committee of Russia of employees and veterans of the Chelyabinsk police, which stated abuse in the distribution of housing built under a targeted program for employees, the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed the head of the Chelyabinsk Regional Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia Reshetnikov P.G. to organize a procedural check and report.  

In addition, the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed the Acting Head of the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation in the Omsk region Vinnikov O. E. to report on the circumstances of possible violations of the rights of a pensioner from Omsk who has lived in an iron barrel without light, gas and water for 35 years, which was reported on the air of a federal channel.

The progress of fulfillment of the instructions is to be supervised by the Central Office of the Committee.
