The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia puts under supervision the progress of investigation of a number of incidents with children

The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed the head of the Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol Terentyev V.N. to initiate a criminal case on the fact of injuring of a 4-year-old resident of one of the villages of the urban district of Alushta.

On October 7 of this year a minor was admitted to a medical institution with burns. The investigative department of the city of Alushta preliminarily established that the injuries were received by the boy during a trip with his father in a wooded area, where the car caught fire. At present the minor is in a medical institution with burns of the limbs and face totaling up to 13%, his condition is stable, and there is no threat to his life or health. Appropriate medical care was provided to the man. The circumstances of the accident and the events that preceded it are being established: inspections of the area were conducted, a number of people were questioned, fire-technical expertise of the vehicle was appointed. The progress of investigation is under supervision of the Central Office of the Investigative Committee of Russia.

In addition, the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed the head of the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Sverdlovsk region, M.V. Boginsky, to report on the investigation of the criminal case charging three citizens with a number of crimes of a sexual nature against three underage girls. The Sverdlovsk Regional Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia charged three unemployed men born in 1985, 1993 and 2001 with committing offenses under Paragraph A of Part 3 of Article 131, Paragraph A of Part 3 of Article 132 of the Criminal Code of Russia (rape and violent sexual actions against a minor). The punishment for these especially grave crimes is up to 15 years of imprisonment. According to the investigation, on October 8, 2021 three of the accused, being in a rented apartment in Malysheva street in Yekaterinburg, acting as a group of persons in preliminary collusion, committed actions of sexual nature against three underage girls born in 2007 and 2006. Upon the motion of the Sverdlovsk Regional Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia the court placed all three perpetrators in custody. Currently, the investigation continues to carry out the necessary investigative actions to collect and consolidate evidence, as well as to clarify all the circumstances, causes and conditions that contributed to the incident.
