The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia Alexander Ivanovich Bastrykin instructed the head of the Moscow Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia A.A. Strizhov to report on the progress of the pre-investigative probe launched upon mass media information about an incident in the Moscow subway.

The head of the IC of Russia instructed to present the first results of the check, including information on the personalities of the perpetrators. He also demanded a comprehensive legal assessment of the conflict.

The day before, during the monitoring of the media, a message was revealed that on the evening of October 12, 2021, in the carriage of an electric train traveling from the Volgogradsky Prospekt station to the Tekstilshchiki station of the Tagansko-Krasnopresnenskaya line of the Moscow Metro, several passengers began to express aggression towards a girl in the carriage. It was also reported that other passengers immediately stood up for her. The investigators of the Moscow Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia are carrying out a set of assessment activities aimed at establishing all circumstances of the incident. In the near future, all participants in the incident will be interviewed. The pre-investigative probe will result in a procedural decision.
