In St. Petersburg, the head of the Investigative Committee of Russia met with veterans of the Leningrad Criminal Investigation Department

Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia Russian Federation Alexander Bastrykin held a meeting in St. Petersburg with veterans of the Leningrad criminal investigation dedicated to the recent professional day of one of the most important services of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The event was also attended by the head of the educational work department of the Investigative Committee of Russia Hero of Russia Sergey Vasilyevich Petrov, head of the Cultural Center of the Investigative Committee of Russia Maria Dmitrievna Krasnopeeva, assistant to the rector of the St. Petersburg Academy of the Investigative Committee of Russia Alexei Ivanovich Klimentyev, Commander of the North-West District of the National Guard of the Russian Federation Pavel Petrovich Dashkov, Head of the Leningrad Regional Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia Sergey Tikhonovich Sazin and employees of the department, students of educational institutions of the Investigative Committee of Russia located in the Northern Capital.

The guests of honor also were the actors who embodied on the screen the image of honest and sympathetic officers of the criminal investigation department: Anastasia Rurikovna Melnikova, Alexander Yurievich Polovtsev and Evgeny Valerievich Dyatlov.

Before the start of the celebration, a film dedicated to the Leningrad Criminal Investigation Department was shown to all those present.

Opening the solemn event, Alexander Ivanovich once again congratulated everyone on the holiday and noted the most important role of the criminal investigation department in the fight against crime. These are people who always approach their duties with a high degree of responsibility and ensure the peace and safety of citizens. Highly qualified professionals, loyal to the high ideals of justice, who have made an irreplaceable contribution to ensuring law and order and protecting the legal rights of citizens. The initiative and dedication carried by each of them through the years of intense service, and today remain the yardsticks of morality and a reference point for future generations of operational police officers. Addressing the veterans of the criminal investigation department today, Alexander Ivanovich emphasized: “Share your memories with the younger generation, share your experience, your knowledge, tell us what a professional detective is, what it is to solve crimes, stay awake at night and fight crime every day, stand firmly and confidently on guard of law and order”.

By the decision of Alexander Ivanovich Bastrykin, the invited veterans of the internal affairs and investigation bodies were awarded the departmental medal "10 years of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation" and memorable gifts for their assistance in solving the tasks assigned to the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation and in commemoration of the 10th anniversary of the foundation of the Investigative Committee of Russia. “I wish you good health and the same strong handshake that I feel from you today, optimism, vigor and best wishes to your loved ones, your families,” Alexander Ivanovich resumed.

Also, the specified Committee medal and memorable gifts were awarded to the artists present at the event.

The veterans responded by the Chairman of the Council of Veterans of the Criminal Investigation Viktor Yegorovich Brylev and members of the council Nikolai Pavlovich Khorev and Valery Timofeevich Demchenko, who thanked the head of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for such a reverent and respectful attitude, for this meeting, which has already become traditional. The head of the Investigative Committee of Russia was awarded a commemorative sign in honor of the 20th anniversary of the veteran organization "Leningrad Criminal Investigation", as well as a medal "For good deeds" - for many years of daily work in protecting the rights of citizens and educating the younger generation.

The solemn event continued with a festive concert prepared for the guests by the staff and the creative team of the Cultural Center of the Investigative Committee of Russia with the participation of the Imperial Order of St. Cyril of the Cossack Ensemble named after A.M. Krasnoperts "Ataman" and Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Evgeny Valerievich Dyatlov. Kind patriotic poems and songs about the Motherland, friendship and loyalty to the Oath were sounded.
