The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed to report on the progress of the criminal investigation into the murder and a number of other crimes, on suspicion of which a resident of Krasnodar Territory is on the wanted list

Today the story of grave crimes in Krasnodar Territory was discussed on the air of the federal channel. The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed the head of the Krasnodar Regional Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia Maslov A.K. to report on the progress of investigative actions in the criminal case into robbery and murder of a resident of village Akhtanizovskaya in December 2020 (Part 1 Article 105, Part 3 Article 162 of the Criminal Code) and use of violence dangerous to life of police officers in Anapa (Part 2 Article 318 of the Criminal Code).  A 44-year-old resident of Temryuksky district Alexei Shchetinin, who is suspected of committing these crimes, has been placed on the federal wanted list.

According to the investigation, on December 22, 2020, the suspect broke into the house of an elderly man who lived in one of the houses in Pionersky Alley of Akhtanizovskaya village of Temryuksky district, and killed him, causing the owner of the house at least six gunshot wounds, and also stole jewelry from the house, after which he fled from the scene of the incident. In addition, in April 2021 the suspect, while in the village of Tsibanobalka in Anapa, fired at least two shots from a firearm in the direction of law enforcement officials who approached him to check his documents, wounding them.

Currently, the complex of investigative actions and operational-search activities aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the crimes, as well as the location of the suspect are continuing. In the course of the investigation, the involvement of the suspect in the commission of other unlawful acts is also being verified.
