The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia requests a report on the progress of the criminal investigation into the robbery of a pensioner in Moscow

At the end of October of the current year three intruders took advantage of trust of 78 years old pensioner and got into his house and stole 3.7 million rubles. Then they tied up the owner of the house, left gas burners on and fled from the place of crime. A criminal case on the case was filed in the bodies of the Russian Interior Ministry. Two suspects have been detained. In connection with receiving information about the attempted murder of a pensioner by the attackers the criminal case was transferred for further investigation to the Moscow Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia.

At the moment a set of investigative actions and operational-investigative activities aimed at establishing the location of the third person involved are being carried out, the collection of evidence continues.

The Chairman of Investigation Committee of Russia ordered the head of the Moscow Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia A.A. Strizhov to report on the circumstances of the crime. The investigation has been placed under supervision of the Central Office of the Investigative Committee.
