Earlier, the media reported that in a multi-storey apartment building in the Kemerovo region an illegal nursing home was found in which several patients died. The Kemerovo Regional Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia initiated an initial investigation into this fact.

Investigators found that one of the apartments in the apartment building was indeed a nursing home. Currently investigators are questioning the management and residents of the organization. The investigation will provide a legal assessment of the event, including the causes of death of the residents.

Alexander Bastrykin instructed the acting head of the investigative department, A. S. Bezukladnikov, to report on all the established circumstances. The progress of the procedural check was placed under supervision of the Central Office of the Committee.
