A.I. Bastrykin has instructed the Head of the Moscow Main Investigations Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia, A.A. Strizhov, to report on the progress of the investigation into the scooter hitting a pensioner on Manezhnaya Square. 

A young man, driving an electric scooter, hit a 77-year-old woman on Manezhnaya Square in central Moscow on 5 November 2021. National Guard officers, who were eyewitnesses to the incident, immediately called an ambulance and treated her. The woman was taken to the city hospital for examination.  

The progress and results of the probe will be supervised by the Central Office of the Investigative Committee.
