A criminal case was initiated into judge Evgeny Gladskikh

The Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the North Caucasus Federal District is investigating a criminal case initiated by the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia with the consent of the Higher Qualification Board of Judges of the Russian Federation against a judge of Shpakovsky District Court of Stavropol Territory, Evgeny Gladskikh. He is suspected of committing an offense under Part 3 of Article 30, Part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code of Russia (attempted swindling on a large scale).

The investigation established that during the period from September 28 to November 9, 2020 Gladskikh committed actions aimed at stealing by fraudulent means from a resident of Shpakovsky district in the amount of 4 million rubles.

Gladskikh persuaded a resident of Shpakovsky district that he could facilitate a minimum punishment for his crimes by the Nevinnomyssk city court of Stavropol Krai. Gladskikh was not able to dispose of the money he received because his fraudulent actions were stopped by officers of the FSS of Russia in Stavropol Territory.

The criminal investigation is ongoing. A complex of investigative activities and search operations aimed to establish all circumstances of the offence are currently carried out.
