The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia Alexander Ivanovich Bastrykin instructed the head of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Republic of Dagestan A.P. Shchurov to report on the intermediate results of the criminal case of violence against a police officer (Part 1 of Article 318 of the Criminal Code of Russia).

According to the investigation, on November 11, 2021 at the checkpoint "Airport" located in Kaspiysk, a policeman together with employees of the traffic police made an attempt to stop a vehicle - Toyota Camry - driven by an unidentified person without state registration plates and with tinted windows. The driver of the vehicle did not comply with the lawful requirements of traffic police, continued to move, knocked down the barrier of the post, and then hit a police officer, who was on duty. As a result, the officer was injured.

The head of the agency instructed the investigators to establish all the circumstances of violence against a representative of authority as soon as possible.
