The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia requests a follow-up report on the situation around the dismissed school principal in Gatchina district of Leningrad Region

The media and social networks continue to discuss the illegal, as the parents of the students of the school in the Gatchina district of Leningrad region believe, dismissal of the principal after he complained about the poor quality repairs that were performed in the educational institution.

The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia demanded from the head of the Leningrad Regional Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia S. T. Sazin to submit a repeated report on the situation.

As reported earlier, the investigative department of the Investigative Committee of Russia in Leningrad region initiated an investigation into information that the school principal in the village of Lukashi in Gatchina district of Leningrad Region was threatened with dismissal for refusing to accept unsatisfactory repairs. During the investigation information was received that the head of procurement department of administration of Gatchina municipal district of Leningrad Region was involved in corruption offenses. In the course of investigative and operational activities in cooperation with the employees of FSB of St. Petersburg and Leningrad region the head of procurement department of the administration of Gatchina municipal district of Leningrad region was detained at the bribe of 150 thousand rubles for unhindered passage at all stages of the tender procedure for contracts. With regard to the official the criminal case on signs of the crime provided by Part 3 of Article 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (bribery) is investigated. A measure of restraint was chosen for him.  The progress of the investigation is under supervision of the Central Office of the Investigative Committee of Russia.
