The Chairman of the Investigative Committee instructed the head of the Investigative Committee of Russia in the Moscow Region Starikov A.Yu. to report on the circumstances of the attack on a man who was returning home with his wife and young child and near his entranceway made a remark to a man for indecent behavior. According to media reports, a verbal conflict ensued between the men, which escalated into a fight. The attacker was joined by several other men who beat up the father of the family. In addition, it is reported that the victim's family began to receive threats after the incident.

Currently, the Moscow Regional Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia is petitioning the Prosecutor's Office to transfer the criminal case of hooliganism initiated by the internal affairs authorities to its own jurisdiction for further investigation.
