A federal channel aired a report about residents of an emergency building in Krasnogorsk, Moscow region, who may end up on the street. The developer promised to relocate the tenants of the building scheduled for demolition, but they were offered a disproportionately high surcharge for new housing. It is noted that this applies to those who own apartments, some residents of municipal apartments were still moved to the new building across the street. One of the residents also complained on air that she could be evicted from her apartment along with her minor child.
The Chairman of the Investigative Committee instructed A. Starikov, the head of the Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for Moscow Region, to look into the circumstances and report on the situation.
