The Chairman of the Investigative Committee instructed to report on the progress of the investigation into the criminal case of a teenager's preparation for murder in Kazan

The head of the Investigative Committee of Russia A. Bastrykin instructed the head of the Tatarstan Republican Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia V. Lipsky to report on the investigation of the criminal case against a 14-year-old boy suspected of committing a crime under Part 1 of Article 30, Paragraph A, Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code (preparation for murder of two or more persons).

According to investigators, at the direction of an unidentified person with whom the suspect met through the Internet, he was preparing to attack students of a school in one of the regions of Tatarstan, where he previously studied. The teenager is currently placed in a closed psychiatric hospital for psychological and psychiatric examination.

The progress and results of the investigation are under supervision of the Central Office of the Investigative Committee upon instruction of the Chairman of the Investigative Committee.
