Chairman of the Investigative Committee instructed the acting head of the Arkhangelsk Regional Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia Kulakov V. V. to report on the progress of the check on the message in the social network about the damage to a bridge in one of the villages.

According to the publication, in the village of Selso of Kholmogorsk district the pontoon bridge across the river Emtsa was broken as a result of a collision with a block of ice, due to which several settlements (Myakurye, Peshemskoye, Ripalovo, Ust-Mekhrenga, Pogost) were isolated.

The investigation will evaluate the actions of those who installed the bridge over the river, and make a procedural decision based on the results of the inspection.
