The Chairman of Investigative Committee of Russia instructs heads of regional investigative departments to report on incidents reported in media

A media article was published today reporting that parents of four underage boys in the Rostov region are systematically beating them and keeping them out of school while the children do not receive adequate food and an appropriate upbringing. The Rostov Regional Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia organized an inquiry into this matter.

The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed the head of the Rostov Regional Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Aslan Huade, to report on the investigative measures taken.

The progress and results of the pre-investigative probe will be supervised by the Central Office of the Investigative Committee.

An appeal to the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia was also published in the media. The author of the article disagrees with the progress of the criminal investigation and the procedural decision on the incident that occurred on 27 October 2020 in the Omsk region, when a patient died while being taken to a medical facility as a result of violations committed by the ambulance team.

The Head of the Committee instructed the acting head of the Omsk Regional Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia, S.V. Markovchenko, to report on the progress of the criminal investigation and the procedural decisions taken.
