The Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia completed the investigation of a criminal case against three persons accused of committing a crime under Part 2 of Article 162 of the Criminal Code of Russia (robbery committed by a group of persons by prior collusion, with the use of objects used as weapons).
The crime was detected and disclosed during the investigation of an organized group, which was committing murders of citizens. In particular, the investigators analyzed the seized archives of electronic files, among which was found a video recording of the attack, carried out by one of the accused.
According to the investigation, on June 4, 2017, three non-working citizens, having entered into a criminal conspiracy, under the guise of police officers, attacked a resident of Moscow region, beat him, and stole money belonging to him in the amount of 95 thousand rubles. At the same time, one of the attackers was filming what was happening in order to imitate the operational investigative measures being carried out.
In addition, weapons and ammunition, as well as drugs and psychotropic substances in large quantities were found and seized during the search at the place of residence of one of the defendants. He was additionally charged with crimes provided by Part 1 of Article 222 (illegal acquisition, storage, transportation of firearms and ammunition), Part 2 of Article 228 (illegal acquisition, storage without intent to sell narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, committed in large amounts) of the Criminal Code.
The investigation has collected a sufficient evidentiary basis, in connection with which the criminal case was transferred for referral to court.
