The Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for Krasnoyarsk Territory and Republic of Khakassia is conducting procedural investigation of a traffic accident causing injury to the health of a 16 year old student of Regional State Budgetary Educational Institution "Krasnoyarsk Cadet Corps named after A. I. Lebed" - a specialized cadet class of the Investigative Committee of Russia (Part 1 of Article 264 of the Criminal Code of Russia, Part 1 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Russia). In addition, the Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for Krasnoyarsk Territory and Republic of Khakassia initiated the issue of transferring the criminal case from the police to the territorial division of the regional office of the Investigative Committee of Russia for further objective and comprehensive investigation.
According to preliminary data, on December 1, 2021 a student of the Cadet Corps was returning home from classes in Krasnoyarsk and was run over by a car when crossing the roadway. After committing a traffic accident the driver fled. The victim was hospitalized with injuries in serious condition and is receiving necessary medical care. Today, as a result of operational-search activities, the driver, who was driving the car, has been installed. Investigative actions are currently underway with him.
The Chairman of Investigative Committee of Russia instructed the acting Head of the Main Investigative Department of Investigative Committee of Russia for Krasnoyarsk region and Republic of Khakassia A. Zyubanov to report on the performed verification activities. The progress of the inspection is under supervision of the Central Office of the Investigative Committee.
