Today the media reported that on November 18, 2021 in one of the districts of Moscow, an elderly man, who had previously worked in the energy sector, was injured by a young man on grounds of animosity. With bodily injuries the man was taken to a city hospital where he later died.

The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation Alexander Ivanovich Bastrykin instructed the head of the Moscow Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia A.A. Strizhov to clarify all the circumstances of the incident promptly and initiate the transfer of the criminal case to the investigators of the relevant territorial division of the department.

The progress of execution of the order is under supervision of the Central Office of the Investigative Committee of Russia.
