The media reported on the beating of a man who interceded for a young couple in an underpass in Moscow. According to media reports, a procedural check was organized by the Moscow Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia. In addition, the regional investigative department initiated the transfer of the criminal case initiated by the internal affairs bodies on this fact into its own proceedings. The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed the head of the Investigative Committee of Russia in Moscow A. Strizhov to report on the circumstances of the incident.

Alexander Bastrykin also requested a report from the head of the Investigative Committee of Russia in Moscow Region A. Starikov on the verification of the information published in the media, according to which a stray dog attacked a seven-year-old boy in a village near Ramensky urban district playground, causing bite wounds to the child's head. The child was taken to a hospital, where he was given the necessary medical care.  At present, the life and health of the boy are not threatened.

The progress of execution of the instructions is under supervision of the Central Office of the agency.
