In relation to a number of appeals addressed to the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia, reports have been requested on procedural and investigative actions on facts voiced by complainants

The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia was contacted by a woman raising a disabled son, who reported a violation of her and her son's rights 18 years ago.

For 18 years, the woman had sent numerous complaints and requests for assistance to various authorities, but received no response to her appeals.  Her 18-year-old son suffers from cerebral palsy and his body is paralyzed. The boy's medical history began with his birth, and his relatives blame doctors at the Krasnodar maternity hospital. As the mother declares in her appeal to A.I. Bastrykin, the birth trauma and inoculations given at birth affected her child's health and he became disabled. The woman also claims that a doctor in the Krasnodar maternity hospital unlawfully demanded money from her for the opportunity to receive proper medical care.

The Chairman of Investigative Committee of Russia instructed the Head of the Krasnodar Regional Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia A.K. Maslov to report on all the circumstances of what happened to the woman and her child and a set of verification activities carried out on the violation of their rights.

Bastrykin was also addressed by a coach of personal growth from the company "Moscow Training Center" against the managers of which a criminal case is being investigated by the Moscow Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia.

In her statement she criticized the legality of the actions of the employees of the Investigative Committee of Russia. The woman focuses on the fact that the girl's suicide, which was the basis for the criminal proceedings, is not actually related to the activities of the training center, and the reason for it was a personal drama.

In connection with this appeal, the head of the Investigative Committee instructed the head of the Moscow Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia A.A. Strizhov to report on the progress of the criminal investigation and the circumstances of the incident established within its framework.
