The Chairman of the Investigative Committee instructed the acting head of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Kemerovo Region-Kuzbass Bezukladnikov A.S. to report on the progress of the investigation into the accident in the mine named after Ruban.

Earlier, it was reported that in the mine named after Ruban in Leninsk-Kuznetskiy, Kemerovo region, the seam was heated, but the coal did not ignite. At the time of the accident 128 miners were in the mine. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, all were brought to the surface, no medical assistance was required. Investigators are establishing all the circumstances of the accident.

The progress and results of the investigation are under supervision of the Central Office of the Investigative Committee of Russia.
