The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia gives instructions on information published in the media
The media have published an appeal to the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin, from residents of a multi-storey building in the city of Volgograd, reporting that their house was close to collapse with cracks all over the building, making people fear for their lives. The publication also reports that the housing inspectorate refuses to declare the building unsafe and appeals to the city administration on the issue have yielded no results.
The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed the Head of the Volgograd Regional Investigative Department, Semyonov, to promptly investigate the arguments voiced by the citizens and report on the situation.
The head of the agency also instructed the head of the Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia, D.V. Kolesnikov, to report on the progress and results of the investigation into the criminal case against Fyodor Streltsov. According to the investigation, for several years he committed economic and common crimes against businessmen from Krasnodar Territory and Rostov Region.
