A federal TV channel reported that a resident of Moscow lost her three-room apartment and found herself indebted to banks for millions of rubles. It is noted that after a call from an unknown person who introduced himself as a law enforcement officer, the woman withdrew all her funds and transferred them to someone else's cards, took several more loans totaling over 6 million rubles, then sold the apartment and transferred all the money to the criminals.

In addition, the story notes that the estate agent called the woman on their own initiative, and the apartment was sold to the real estate agent below market value; after a short time, the apartment was sold to another person.

The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed Head of the Main Investigative Department of the IC of Russia for the City of Moscow A. A. Strizhov to comprehensively study the arguments mentioned in the TV broadcast and submit a report.
