Once again, the media raise the question of the problems of buyers of apartments in the Mendeleevsky residential complex in Bashkortostan, who have been waiting for their apartments for more than 10 years. The media reported about their appeal to Chairman of the Investigative Committee A. I. Bastrykin.

The court is currently considering a criminal case on charges of fraud against the director of the general contracting organization and the chairman of the housing construction cooperative, while the developer is declared bankrupt. According to the apartment buyers, after the bankruptcy of the original developer, the house was transferred to a municipal developer, but the problem with the provision of housing has not been solved yet.

The Investigative Department for the Republic of Bashkortostan arranged the reception of apartment buyers, representative of the new developer, and representatives of the construction commissioner. The ID of the IC of Russia for the Republic of Bashkortostan organized an inspection in order to verify whether the funds obtained for building the complex had been spent in a legal way.

The Chairman of the Investigative Committee instructed Head of the ID for the Republic of Bashkortostan D. N. Chernyatyev to report on the situation with the restoration of citizens' rights to housing. The course of fulfilling the task is supervised by the Central Office of the department.
