The investigating authorities of the ID of the IC of Russia for Arkhangelsk Oblast are investigating a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under Part 1, Article 293 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (negligence) following media reports on the inaction of the administration of Nikolskoye municipality, Shenkursky Raion, regarding improper maintenance of residential building No. 4 on Dachnaya Street in the village of Shipunovskaya, in which 13 individuals reside, including two minors. Earlier, the Chairman of the IC of Russia instructed officials to file a report on the progress of the checking of this fact. Investigative activities to establish all circumstances are currently underway.

The Chairman of the IC of Russia instructed A.V. Popov, the head of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for Arkhangelsk Oblast and Nenets Autonomous Okrug, to report on the progress of the investigation. Also, Alexander Ivanovich Bastrykin instructed officials to prepare a letter addressed to the Governor of the Oblast to ensure the resettlement of these individuals, including a labor veteran, as soon as possible.
