Chairman of the IC of Russia Instructs to Initiate Criminal Case on Violation of Great Patriotic War Veteran's Rights in Vladimir Oblast

According to the media reports, a 99-year-old participant in the war, a resident of Selivanovsky District, Vladimir Oblast, went to court with an administrative claim to declare illegal the decision of the Housing Commission of the Novlyanskoye Rural Settlement Administration to refuse to register her as a person in need of better housing conditions. It is noted that the veteran has a disability and lives in a house built in 1940; there is no sewerage system in the house, and repairs are required. Investigative authorities of the Investigative Department of the IC of Russia for Vladimir Oblast are conducting an inspection on violation of the veteran's rights.

The Chairman of the IC of Russia instructed Head of the Investigative Department for Vladimir Oblast A. A. Kulakov to initiate a criminal case on the officials' negligence. The investigation will be monitored by the Central Office of the IC.
