Chairman of the Investigative Committee A. I. Bastrykin instructed Acting Head of the Investigative Department for Kemerovo Oblast – Kuzbass A. S. Bezukladnikov to report on the circumstances of teenagers' attack on an elderly man. According to the media report about this incident, investigative authorities of the regional investigative department organized a pre-investigation check.

The journalists reported that teenage wards of an orphanage were involved in the attack. The investigators will check all the reported arguments. A procedural decision will be made based on the check results.
