The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation continues to collect evidence of crimes committed by Ukrainian servicemen and national battalions against civilians of the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics.

According to the investigators, throughout the day, servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine carried out another massive shelling of civilian infrastructure facilities in Donbass settlements.

As a result of a massive shelling using the Tochka-U tactical missile system and other types of heavy weapons with high destructive properties, 67 residential buildings were destroyed in the city of Donetsk, towns of Gorlivka, Yasinovataya, Ilovaisk and Dokuchaievsk, the village of Maryevka of the Donetsk People's Republic, as well as in the town of Kirovsk and the villages of Golubovskoye and Donetskiy of the Lugansk People's Republic.

Power lines and a gas pipeline were damaged, as a result of which 158 households were cut from gas supply in the village of Golubovskoye. Educational and preschool facilties were shelled once again.

In pursuit of the goal of disabling the most important facilities vital to the population of the republics, the Ukrainian military delivered a powerful blow using the Tochka-U tactical missile complex at an oil depot in the town of Rovenki of the Lugansk People's Republic, which caused a violent ignition of the stored fuel. In addition, as a result of direct hits to residential buildings and shell explosions, 2 civilians were killed and 10 sustained injuries of varying severity.

Two criminal cases have been initiated on these incidents under Article 356 of the Criminal Code (use of means and methods prohibited by an international treaty of the Russian Federation in an armed conflict).
