In a TV spot broadcast by a federal TV channel, residents of apartment buildings in one of the districts of Moscow complain that two shopping centers are being built in their yards. It is noted that the results of the public vote on the construction of commercial facilities may not correspond to reality. Residents of the district are categorically against the development.

Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia A. I. Bastrykin instructed Head of the Main Investigative Department for Moscow A. A. Strizhov to conduct a procedural check, to study citizens' arguments, as well as to promptly report on the circumstances of a possible violation of their rights.
