Chairman of the IC of Russia Instructs to Establish All Circumstances of Explosion at Oil Depot in LPR and to Record All Ukrainian Military's Crimes Against Civilians

As a result of a missile strike by the Ukrainian military on an oil depot in the town of Rovenki, an explosion occurred, igniting 200 tons of diesel fuel.

Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation Alexander Ivanovich Bastrykin instructed the investigators of the Main Investigative Department of the IC of Russia to record all the circumstances of the incident and conduct an objective and comprehensive investigation.

The head of the department also pointed out to his subordinates that it was necessary to document fix serious violations of international humanitarian law by the Ukrainian military, in particular, the destruction of homes and settlements. At present time, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have positioned military vehicles inside residential quarters of Kyiv and other cities where, according to preliminary data, some people have already died.

A. I. Bastrykin drew special attention of his subordinates to the need to record every fact of the shelling the Russian territory. The head of the department issued this instruction during a working trip to Rostov Oblast, where he held an operational meeting on the investigation of crimes committed by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
