Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation Alexander Ivanovich Bastrykin instructed to document and investigate firing at civilians in the town of Volnovakha in the Donetsk People's Republic.

According to a Telegram channel, on March 1, 2022, Ukrainian nationalists shot civilians who were leaving Volnovakha. They opened fire on civilians leaving the town under a white flag.

A. I. Bastrykin instructed the investigators of the Central Office to investigate this incident within the criminal case, reminding about the need to promptly exchange information on crimes committed by the AFU through established channels of interaction with the law enforcement agencies of the DPR and LPR.
