Chairman of the IC of Russia Instructs to Investigate Firing at Group of Civilians Leaving Mariupol

The Chairman of the Russian IC instructed investigators to investigate the circumstances of firing at citizens leaving Mariupol.

Today it was reported that when a column of civilians was trying to leave the city of Mariupol along the humanitarian corridor of the M23 highway toward Novoazovsk, Ukrainian militants from the nationalist battalion Azov opened fire at the column. According to the report, two civilians were killed and four were injured.

The head of the IC of Russia ordered to promptly take all measures required to identify persons involved in criminal activities aimed at murdering the civilians, as well as to collect and document the evidence.
