Chairman of the IC of Russia Instructs to Investigate Shelling of Residential Buildings and Boarding House for Disabled in Donbass


The Chairman of the IC of Russia instructed to investigate the shelling of a boarding house for the elderly and disabled in Gorlovka by the Ukrainian nationalists, as well as shelling of residential buildings and infrastructure in the LPR and DPR.

According to the available data, on the night of March 11-12, the building of the boarding house for the elderly and disabled in Gorlovka suffered significant damage as a result of shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The data on the victims are being clarified.

In addition, on March 12, Ukrainian troops conducted a massive shelling of Donetsk and the village of Shirokaya Balka in the DPR, firing 15 120-millimeter mines at them. Today, six residential buildings and a gas pipeline were damaged in the LPR as a result of shelling of the area by Ukrainian troops.

As part of the criminal case on using prohibited means and methods of warfare, the investigators were instructed to give a legal evaluation of these incidents.
