Chairman of the IC of Russia Instructs Investigators to Urgently Initiate a Criminal Case Against a Ukrainian Doctor Who Calls for Violence Against Captured Russian Soldiers

Gennady Druzenko, the head of Ukraine’s Mobile Hospital project, on the air of a Ukrainian TV channel, called for violence against captured soldiers of the Russian Armed Forces. He had given such instructions to doctors of mobile hospitals.

Alexander Ivanovich Bastrykin, the chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, has instructed investigators to immediately initiate a criminal case and give a procedural assessment of Druzenko's actions. To establish the whereabouts of the doctor who has taken a position that is contrary to the law and runs counter to the norms of medical ethics, procedures to put him on the international wanted list in order to bring him to criminal liability will be launched.
