Today it was reported that equity construction participants of the residential complexes Chisty Ruchey and Severny Vals in Sertolovo and Vsevolozhsk, Leningrad Oblast, came to Moscow to draw the authorities' attention to the unfinished houses. They also expressed the intention to appeal, among others, to the superiors of the IC of Russia to solve the accumulated problems.

The Chairman of the Investigative Committee has instructed Acting Head of the Investigative Department of the IC of Russia for Leningrad Oblast D. Yu. Mityaev to present a detailed report on the situation and measures taken by the investigators to restore the equity construction participants' rights.

Bastrykin has repeatedly drawn attention to the problems of protecting the rights of equity construction participants who, for one reason or another, have not been able to get housing in Leningrad Oblast for years. In 2021, during a personal reception, the Chairman of the IC of Russia met participants in equity construction of the Severny Vals residential complex. A criminal case on fraud with the equity construction participants' funds is being investigated by the police. At the same time, the Investigative Department of the IC of Russia for Leningrad Oblast is investigating criminal cases against officials of regulatory authorities in the field of equity construction. Investigation of a number of cases has been completed, some cases have been filed for trial.
