The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed to thoroughly investigate within a criminal case all the information reported by representatives of the Ministry of Defense during the briefing.

The head of the department instructed to pay special attention to the data contained in the secret order of the commander of the National Guard of Ukraine, including a detailed plan for preparing and implementing offensive actions in the area the so-called “joint forces operation” in Donbass.

In addition, representatives of the Ministry of Defense of Russia mentioned instances when Ukrainian nationalists used highly destructive indiscriminate weapons, including Tochka-U complexes, against civilian infrastructure and the residential sector in Donbass. A number of such instances are already being investigated.

It was also noted that Ukrainian nationalist formations, which are recognized to be terrorist organizations in our country, continue the already routine practice of ill-treatment of civilians and using people as a “human shield.”

In accordance with the head of the department's instructions, the investigators will give a legal evaluation to the new instances of Ukrainian nationalists' illegal activities.
