Pursuant to the provisions of the Cooperation Agreement between the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation and the Prosecutor General's Office of the Donetsk People's Republic, military investigators of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, together with employees of the Prosecutor General's Office of the DPR, take part in examining a 9-storey residential building on Pintera Street, Kirovsky District, Donetsk.

Today, at approximately 6:30 a. m., shells fired from the territory controlled by the armed forces of Ukraine hit this apartment building. According to the updated data, as a result of the collapse of the upper floors of the building, 1 person was killed, 5 suffered injuries of varying severity, 2 of them were children no older than 1.5 and 8 years of age. Rescuers evacuated several dozen people from the house.

Taking into account that the rubble has not been fully cleared yet, the total number of civilians injured in this incident may increase.
