The Chairman of the IC of Russia uncharged the  General Directorate to report about the circumstances of the happened attack done by the Ukrainian  nationalists in Izum city.

According to available information, as a result of the impact of the reactive artillery of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the residential areas of Izum, 7 civilians were injured, several people died. At the same time, the Armed Forces of Ukraine once again applied the cassette ammunition against the civilian population, intended for the destruction of objects on a large area and possess highly affluent properties. This is an explicit violation of the international law, in particular, the Convention on Cassette Ammunition by Ukrainian military personnel.

The Investigation will reveal the persons among the Ukrainian security officials who have given orders to apply the prohibited means of warfare in relation to the civilians, and will provide the criminal evaluation of their actions. The investigating progress of this crime is monitored.
