The Chairman of the IC of Russia instructs to launch the criminal charges due to occurrence of new records about the crimes of Ukrainian nationalists.

According to a representative of the People's Militia of DNR E. Basinur, as a result of shelling of Mariupol city of Donetsk People's Republic, by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, five children were injured, and other civilians were also affected.

In addition, it is known that more than 100 civilians were evacuated by Russian soldiers and fighters of the DPR from the city hospital, including 16 children. According to evidence of people who were in the hospital building, the nationalists of the “Azov” battalion used them as a "living shield." Besides, among those who were in the hospital, there were eyewitnesses of the shelling done by the Ukraine side towards the residential buildings, using the heave equipment at point-blank range, as well as shelling the hospital of Mariupol by the Ukraine military troops, while retrograde crossing.

The declared facts will obtain the legal treatment within the context of the criminal cases about the barbarous treatment of the civilians and about the appliance of the prohibited means and methods of warfare. The investigation will take steps towards the record testimony of witnesses of these incidents and towards recognizing them victims.
