The Head of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructs to investigate the injury of a child during the evacuation from Mariupol, as well as to provide the boy with all required assistance

Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation A.I. Bastrykin instructs the Main Investigative Directorate of the IC of Russia to investigate the child’s injury during his and his family evacuation from Mariupol.

As media sources report, the eight-year-old boy was wounded when his family was trying to leave Mariupol on the car, but the nationalists didn’t let the out. The car, with nine people in it was fired. One of the bullets broke the shoulder of the child through. Doctors saved his life, but reported that the boy's arm will not develop.

A.I. Bastrykin instructed the investigators to take the comprehensive measures due to establish everyone who committed this crime and to prosecute them.

He also instructed the Educational Directorate of the IC of Russia and the Medical Service Department to ensure the boy’s transportation to Moscow and to accommodate him to the Federal Research Institute of the emergency paediatric surgery and traumatology (Clinic Dr. Roshal), based on the cooperation agreement between these establishments.
