As it became known, the unknown persons made the labeling of red paint on the pedestal of the monument in the center of the cemetery on Zhvirki and Vigura streets in Warsaw. More than 21 thousand soldiers of the first Belarusian front of the Red Army were buried on this largest military cemetery-mausoleum
The Head of the Committee instructed the Main Investigative Directorate to investigate all the circumstances of the crime and to take all range of measures due to establish their identity for the further prosecution.
